Sickie as a duckie is the term of the week. At least that's what Kazuhiro says. It sounds weird though. Probably made it up. But the point, however, is that yes, I am sickie as a duckie.

Sore throat, where I can't even speak on some days. A runny nose that's threatening to run away at any given opportunity. Coughing like I'm on my last stretch. And sneezing like something added some pepper to my veins or feathers to the soles of my feet.

Mum and dad hardly let me leave the room. It's nice being coddled though.

I miss being in the sunlight. I miss playing outside, staining my clothes with grass, I miss school hanging out with people. I feel like a hermit.

Someone come visit me!!!

I've been having a little trouble eating. But only because every time I start eating, I can feel it. Can you? Can you feel the eyes watching? They're never there when you look, but they're there nonetheless. Little prickles at the back of my neck, the hair on the back of my hands raising. It's enough to make anyone's appetite go numb.

I can't sleep either. Cold chills run down my body and no matter how many blankets I use, I cannot keep warm. I toss and turn but no sleep comes to me. I feel them waiting though. They want me to let my guard down. They want me to fall sleep, so they can catch me unawares. But I know better.

Even though no one else has mentioned anything to me, I know better. I won't let myself be fooled.

I know I shouldn't, especially at this hour but...mmm energy drink. I must admit, by far, I like Sobe Arush the best. It tastes like pop and it's sugar free.

Daisuke bounces around his room. "Wheee!"

Hey LJ-peoples! Does anyone wanna play soccer? Or video games? Or how about a race? Or, or-! Who wants to do more car stunts and awesome tackles?!

So...when I went shopping with Rikki for her brother's video game, I had recommended Devil May Cry 3, and well, since I had the money at the time, I picked up a copy for myself too. There's only one problem...

I forgot about the fundraiser we have in class!

Daisuke smacks his head on the keyboard many, many times.

tygyygnjh junju cf smf dwafd efeafe

So now...I have about a week to raise...uhm...alot. Alot more than I have, which is like next to nothing. On the upside...I really like DMC3?

He sweatdrops.

Even with payday coming up, it won't nearly be enough. And I don't want to miss any of our soccer away games because I couldn't fundraise anyenough money.

So what do I do now?

The problem with working at this convenience store, is the weird hours. Being the youngest and newest employee there, they can fiddle around with my schedule however much they want. On the other hand, having the time to do homework or watch the small tv or read the sports magazines isn't so bad.

On a new note, Rikki and I went out today, It wasn't a date, before you guys all get the wrong idea! She needed to go shopping for her older brother's birthday present. And what better thing to get him than a video game? And who better to ask then a gamer himself?

Oh, and Seiji sent me this link last night. It's super funny if you know the anime Full Metal Alchemist.

This looked totally cool, so I took Iori and Takeru's idea. Look, guys, my DNA. xD

I never realized but Jun has a tattoo. Not my sister Jun, but Minagawa Jun, one of my coworkers. He has this wicked snake from his shoulder, trailing down his arm. It looks so cool. He said it didn't hurt much at all!

I bought a whole bunch of movies the other day. They were on sale. Four for the price of three.

Hair, Elephant, Finding Neverland and Donnie Darko. Has anyone seen these ones? Are they any good? Does anyone want to come over and then see them? Ken? Hikari? Takeru? Miyako? Iori? ...uh any one else?

I've been so busy lately. They want me to cover extra shifts at work because Sakamoto-san quit and Oshitari-san is sick.

Akira sent me to this site for fun. It tells me what I am and stuff. Heh, check it out.

When Miyako visited a couple weeks ago, she told me she never got her birthday present. But I know I dropped it off before her birthday. I wonder what happened to it?

Are You Listening
...Why is she so immature?

Mom and Jun are having a yelling match right now. They're stomping around the apartment and making a huge racket. Mom keeps telling Jun to do her own stupid dishes and Jun is refusing.

I can predict that in a minute or two, Jun will slam the door to her bedroom and lock it and blast the music. Then mom will bang on the door and yell at her to turn it down. Of course at this point, Jun will have her headphones on too, on top of the stereo blasting. So why is mom still yelling?

I feel a headache coming on.

I feel...like I've been run over by a large truck. No wait, I feel I've been run over by a big rig and the flatbed.

I haven't slept since...uh...if today is Friday night(Saturday morning now), oh! Thursday morning when I woke up for class. I had to finish that English essay, and it was brutal. Never leave things to the last minute. But it's done and now I can happily pass out.

PS: I'm really, really sorry I didn't get a chance to help out with the big search.

((OOC: Oh man, guys. Sorry I've been absolutely dead to the world. I had two projects due for Friday, one which I needed equipment I didn't have and other people all borrowed, the digi cams at school. Another was an unusual 6-8 page essay. I spent the Thursday night at school, working all night. People said I looked tired T_T but I finished them both and then I passed out! Yay for sleep. Next week I will be around, I promise.))

Work totally sucked today...erm yesterday, I guess. The store was all squeaky clean and shiny, and we were closing in 10 minutes. Then, some stupid young teenagers decided to come in. They started making a racket around the store and making a general mess.

One of them so-called 'accidentally' bumped into a shelf of bottled pop. Glass bottles. I had the lovely priviledge of cleaning up their mess. At least, I didn't cut myself.

On a lighter note, I was walking outside and along this one street, was a line of Sakura trees in bloom. They looked really pretty, all pink and soft.

And then I visited Rikki and we got ice cream from the shoppe. Actually, I got this yogurt parfait thing which, surprisingly was really good. Even though it wasn't ice cream, it was still good.

There, nice and neat and sent, Daisuke thought to himself.

Now all he had to do was wait for a reply.

As much as I like the rain...sometimes it feels like it will never end. Just rain rain raaain. Days like these...I feel like I cannot remember what colour the sky is anymore (And yes V-mon, I know it's blue, haha).

But the weather forecast said it will be sunny on Wednesday, which, coincidentally, is White Day! There's a sign, if I ever needed one! That talk with Miyako has given me an idea. But then again, I also have plans of my own too.

Not only does this Livejournal connect us to all the different Chosen in the world, but it also connects us to hundreds of thousands of other people as well. The idea simply astounds me and boggles my mind.

I was just clicking away on this site, totally not doing my homework when I ran across a couple of journals. They had music links up so I tried them out.

I've found I really like this music, even if I cannot understand much of the English.

There's a band called "AFI" which stands for A Fire Inside. Doesn't sound cool? They play this rock-punk kind of music.
"Something Corporate" is similar to AFI. I like them too.
I kind of like this band "Finger Eleven" too. But I don't know anyone with eleven fingers. That'd be kind of weird and creepy, having eleven fingers.

I should go to sleep; it's so late but I still have homework to finish though...I hate math. And science. And everything except PE. Well....English is okay sometimes. But only sometimes.

Daisuke, with a brightly wrapped parcel under one arm, hurried over to Mimi's. It was a couple of days late but it seemed like he and Mimi had no time these days. He knew about his essay due tomorrow but...too bad the goggle-boy hadn't read all of the instructions that carefully. Yet, it was a stroke of luck when he realized the original 6-7 page paper was actually only 3-4 pages long.

In his other hand, he held something entirely different, but also for Mimi. It was something new he was testing out. He just hoped it had turned out like he wanted it to.

Not so panicked about school anymore, he arrived at the older Digidestined's door. He rapped on the door sharply and waited.

Why...do they always know...things? Things you should listen to. Like when she says 'don't go out at 10pm without a jacket'.
But then you do, in only a tanktop, and then it rains, and then next thing you know, you're sick.
I was only going out for a few minutes, really. And...it wasn't raining when I left, really.

Ugh...I'm going back to bed.

[OOC: Gods, I wish I could say the same. At least if I called in sick to work, I really am sick. My throat is killing me. If I lose it, I'll make a voice message for Tento-mun at least. ^^]

What's a guy supposed to get a girl anyways? With guys, a new video game is usually the best option. Girls however, that's like unchartered territory.

Days like these really make appreciate the sun. It's been cloudy and cold for the past few days. I mean, soccer is good any time of day on almost any kind of day but sunny days are the best. The ones where you can actually see the blue sky and feel the sun beating down on you warmly.

I was getting really sick of indoor soccer at school. But I think I need a new pearpair of cleats. The ones I have right now are getting so worn and ragged. I just wish they weren't so expensive! I can totally hear mom now.

'Daisuke, if only you treated your shoes better, they would last so much longer'

...Cleats are not just shoes. No way, no how. They're special and worth every yen. I think I want a pair of red and black ones. Red cleats would be awesome.

EDIT:

I have discovered something. It's called dance music. It's really upbeat and good. I don't really understand the lyrics but it's cool anyways. I still love Gackt, L'Arc en Ciel and pop and stuff, but this dance music stuff is great. Although, 'La Bouche' doesn't sound very English to me. Apparently all this stuff is from 1990 to 2000 or so. We were born then.

Hm...I wonder what metal sounds like...

Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, man. *grins* We need to hit the arcade together or something. Or better yet, Ken. I've got your present for you, and I think you'll like it. I should stop by your place randomly sometime soon.
